Abstract

July 2020, 3 cities in Nusa Tenggara Timur experienced deflation of 0.32 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.55. The city of Kupang experienced a deflation of 0.36 percent, the City of Maumere experienced an inflation of 0.08 percent and the City of Waingapu experienced a deflation of 0.49 percent.

Deflation in July 2020 in Nusa Tenggara Timur occurred due to a decrease in the price index in 7 of 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest decrease in the price index was the transportation group, which fell by 1.95 percent.
